Oasis Cardiac Centre is led by Board Certified Cardiologist, Dr. Wadea Tarhuni and his multi-disciplinary team of experienced physicians and medical technicians.

We offer a wide range of testing and diagnostic screening using state-of-the-art technologies including the Wireless Heart Monitor, Stress Echo and 24 Hour Blood Pressure Monitor. Our Services
Cardiology Consultation
An assessment of your heart health by a cardiac specialist with the goal of improving, preventing & supporting overall heart health.
Electrocardiogram
A simple & fast test used to evaluate your heart function by measuring its’ electrical activity
(also know as an ECG or EKG).
Echocardiogram
A test using sound waves to create pictures of your heart which helps determine the cause of symptoms & risk for future heart disease.
Stress Echocardiogram
A test to assess of how well your heart works under stress (while walking on a treadmill). This test uses ECG and ultrasound technology.
24Hr Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM)
Records your blood pressure on a continuous basis (over a 24 hour period) while you go about your normal activities.
Holter / Loop Monitoring
Records any abnormal electrical activity of your heart throughout the prescribed monitoring period (typically 3 or 7 days)

Meet Dr. Tarhuni
Dr. Tarhuni is a recognized leader in the field of cardiology both locally and internationally as reflected through his multiple certifications including: the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, the American College of Physicians, the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiography, American Heart Association and the European Society of Cardiology.
He continuously researches and adopts cutting-edge technologies to enhance patient care, compliance, overall experience and health outcomes. Two such technologies include, the Cardiophone: a real-time wireless ECG recording device and the HandiECG: a hand-held device that does not require leads.
Dr. Tarhuni is also active in community programs that raise awareness of cardiovascular diseases and promote prevention. He has delivered numerous lectures and participated in multiple exhibits at shopping malls, shows and festivals as well as programs for targeted groups such as women, aboriginal people and children.
